Traveling with a Baby

Traveling with a baby can definitely be intimidating. I’ve been traveling with my little guy since he was about 3 months old and every time we travel there are new challenges.  Flying used to be easy because he would nurse, cuddle or sleep in his carrier the whole time. The most recent flight was the most difficult, since he learned to walk in the airport and obviously didn’t want to sit still when it was time to get on the plane.  A plethora of snacks, books, toys and some phone games (don’t judge me:) sometimes you gotta go with what works) got us through. Car trips can also be a challenge, especially long ones, but I find them easier to cope with since the space is more private and you have more control and can stop and take a break as needed. Then there is the issue of how to feed them, where to have them sleep and how to deal with diaper changes or potty training once you reach your destination.

I have come across a few items in the shop in the last few weeks that I think could definitely come in handy depending on what kind of trip you’re taking and how old your little one is. I haven’t tried many of them so I’d love to hear any thoughts or comments or recommendations. Check them out below!

  1. I travelled with my 5 month old but took a foldaway bouncer in addition to a carrier with us. Means you don’t have to cart the pram down to the beach. It was invaluable! I highly recommend it.
